No boys this weekend :-( As much as I hate not having them I still had an awesome weekend. Friday night I went to see fireworks, and Saturday I went to Countryfest with my friend! It was such a good time. All fun weekends must come to an end, and Sunday morning I had to mow the lawn... Mowing the lawn might not seem like such a big deal, but this is my lawn...
And this is my lawn mower...
It takes about 3 hours, 2 tanks of gas, 4 emptyings of the bag, 4 liters of water to stay hydrated and a quarter of a can of bug spray so you don't get eaten alive to do the whole thing. Then once it's done there is about a half hour of weed whacking to do too. Not the most fun thing to do, especially on a hangover Sunday after Countryfest. The icing on that cake is that once I was done I got to go pick up the boys and spend the rest of the day with them! And the yard looks pretty great to boot. The house on the other hand looks exactly the same way that it did on Thursday night. I haven't been home to clean it or mess it up, so I'm not going to show it to you.
